CONNEMARA POOL RULES
All Connemara residents and their guests may enjoy the pool as long as they are current on HOA dues.
A RESIDENT OF THE HOUSE MUST BE PRESENT WITH ANY GUEST(s).
Pool hours are 11am to 9pm Monday through Thursday and 11am to 10pm Friday through Sunday. Any swimming outside of this time (i.e. early morning exercise requires prior permission).
All persons using the pool do so at their own risk.
A lifeguard is on duty every day of summer break and on weekends in the fall.
No horseplay in the pool or on the deck. (i.e. running, pushing, dunking or climbing on the guard stand).
No diving in the shallow end.
Gum chewing, pets, bicycles, scooters, skateboards or tennis balls are not allowed within the pool area.
Smoking is not allowed on the pool deck or on the sidewalk. Guests wishing to smoke must do so in the parking lot.
Glassware or breakable containers are not allowed. Complementary plastic cups are available in the guard shack.
Everyone using the pool is responsible for disposing of his or her own trash in the provided trash cans. Please help keep your pool area clean and ant free.
BABIES AND TODDLERS MUST WEAR SWIM DIAPERS & RUBBER PANTS. Potty accidents result in the pool being closed due to health concerns with E. coli and other infections. Please be considerate of your neighbors when bringing little ones to the pool and come prepared. If your infant does not have a pair of rubber pants, ast the lifeguard for a complementary pair. Let's keep the pool open!
THE LIFEGUARDS DO NOT GUARD THE BABY POOL. Parents are fully responsible for their children.
THERE IS A 15-MINUTE ADULT SWIM PERIOD HOURLY (XX:45 to XX:00). THE LIFEGUARD IS NOT ON DUTY DURING THIS BREAK AND EVERYONE UNDER 18 IS REQUIRED TO BE OUT OF THE WATER.
As a courtesy to parents with young children, parents may have a non-swimming infant age 3 or under in the pool with them during Adult Swim. The child is the complete responsibility of the parent.
Children ages 10 through 17 are allowed to swim without a parent present as long as
- A lifeguard is on duty
- the pool rules are adhered to.
- The emergency contact information has been completed. (Request a copy from the guard on duty or via email to Mr. Klar - email@example.com ). This allows the child to swim without adult supervision.
- Lifeguards may test the child to swim the length of the pool as a safety requirement.
- Unaccompanied swimming is a privilege - and will be revoked if the child causes a disturbance for the lifeguard.
A guest is someone who does not live in Connemara. A RESIDENT MUST ACCOMPANY THE GUESTS AND BE AT LEAST 15 YEARS OF AGE. . Each household is allowed up to 5 guests per day without prior notification to the guard on duty. This limit applies as a safety requirement. Bringing more than 5 guests is considered a pool party. This requires bringing in an extra guard at the residents expense as a safety requirement. For information about hosting a pool party, contact Mr. Klar via email -firstname.lastname@example.org.
Any variation from these rules requires an exception from Mr. Klar -email@example.com. (i.e. early morning therapy / exercise before the pool opens).
